North Carolina Named 2025 Top State for Business
Raleigh, NC — Today, North Carolina has been named the 2025 "Top State for Business" by CNBC. This is North Carolina's third Top States crown in the last four years.
CNBC cites North Carolina’s biggest strengths as the Economy, Workforce, and Business Friendliness. In their words: "North Carolina is on a roll."
Speaker Hall said, "We’ve taken a deliberate approach to fostering a business-friendly environment—grounded in policies that reduce barriers to entry, promote competition, and encourage investment and growth. Being ranked number one for business yet again is just the latest example of the successful reforms implemented in North Carolina by the Republican-led General Assembly."
